Posted by Saiful in General on 11 30th, 2009

Lancaster Cebu Resort Residences [LCRR] in Mactan, Cebu, a boutique name Condotel Investment of Pacific contract Properties Inc, is now prepared to accept guests in the condo Hotel.  Under the management of Lancaster hostels, Land and Properties, Inc.  [LHLPI], rental operations of LCRR were soft launched March 2007.

Beth Collingz, global marketing Director of PLC world a Web based sales and promoting company and lead selling partners with Pacific Concord Properties, Inc, for the Lancaster make of Condotels in the Philippines, recently announced the Corporation has purchased, by purchase, extra units in its Lancaster Cebu Condotel adding another 75M pesos to its project inventory and enlargement program.  This brings the number of properties held in the development to 75 suites with another 120 units to be added before year end for condo Hotel rental operations.

Collingz said staying in a condo hotel not only gives you the same flexibility as you would have in your house but also you are generally reasonably close to the attractions.  Lancaster Cebu Resort Residences for instance is located 1 or 2 minutes from Mactan-Cebu international airfield, 15 mins to first-class beach resorts and 20 mins from down town Cebu.

Some of the things that are included with your condominium at the Lancaster Cebu Resort Residences : Airconditioing, Kitchen is fully supplied, laundry service, pool, cable telly in bedroom and living room said Collingz

The idea of being able to have four folks in a 2 bedroom suite is also an aspect that will go far.  No more having to get 2 rooms for a family of 4.

Wireless net access for your laptop is available in all rooms and maid service can be provided also.

One of the other benefits that really should catch your attention is that you’ve got the comforts of being able to cook, have some other person do the laundry and just relax announced Collingz

You can choose from Studio or 2 Bedroom suites at Lancaster Cebu.  For the soft launch, LHLPI has prepared special promotional room rates directed at budget travelers.  Guests can check-in to any of the executive studio suites for as low as $35 a night or to any of the two-bedroom loft rooms at $65 a night plus 13% Government Tax while long term discounted rates for monthly and yearly lease rentals are also available said Collingz.

if you’re planning your vacation either as one family, or as a two family group then the cost per person of hiring a condotel suite is quite tiny.

Some folk will try to weigh the cost of a stay in a condo against two weeks in a low budget motel.  There’s really no comparison, particularly when you look at the advantages and cost over the future, including having the ability to cook rather than eating out every meal.  Some motels and hotels basically work out to be dearer, especially if you choose to stay in a suite.

Taking everything under consideration staying in a condo while on vacation might be the best choice you’ve ever made.

whilst some re-building works are still ongoing within the complex, unit rentals are currently available to guests at ‘Special Promo Rates’.  Cebu city is the recognized gateway and Queen city of the South.  Cebu is the most important trading and commercial center outside of Metro Manila.  Mactan Cebu world airport assures the arriving of a regular flow of world flights from Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Singapore, hong kong, Tokyo, Kota Kinabalu, Seoul and Qatar.  There also are chartered flights from Incheon, Taipei, Kansai, Nagoya and Kiaoshung that arrive on abooked regular~ weekly} basis.  Cebu is identified by Asiaweek and Conde Nast traveller as one of asia’s Best towns.

The History Behind Pawleys Island Hammocks

Posted by Saiful in General on 11 28th, 2009

The Pawleys Island rope hammock is known as the sturdiest, most durable and well-made hammock available. The company also has a rich history with a fascinating founder surrounded by folklore. Pawleys was established more than one hundred years ago in South Carolina and has helped to make the hammock the universal symbol of relaxation. In this article, we’ll look at the fascinating history of this hammock company and the unique products that they make.

In 1889, Captain John Joshua Ward was in charge of a riverboat running past the lowlands off Pawleys Island, South Carolina. He was very unhappy with the hot, damp grass filled mattress that he had to sleep on so he decided to design a bed that was better suited to the hot climate. He came up with rope hammocks tied with many comfortable knots with wooden spacers. The basic design of a weaved surface that is supported with spreader bars is still used for today’s hammock swings and garden hammocks. This simple yet sturdy Pawleys Island rope hammock design still bears the name of the island on which it was founded.

Technology and the development of durable synthetic fibers have made Pawleys products even more popular. The original creamy white rope hammocks remain popular, but you can also get the soft spun polyester variety. Polyester is more resistant to sun fading, mold and mildew causing moisture, and insect infestation. For extra luxury and comfort, you can get cloth hammocks filled with a soft polyester fiber-fill. The Duracord fabric offers the highest level of UV protection in the industry. The hammocks are available in a wide range of sizes to fit a single person or oversized models that can hold several people. All of Pawleys Island rope hammocks are designed to support 450 lbs. and come complete with rust resistant, heavy duty metallic hardware.

Craftsmanship is what makes the Pawleys Island products famous. Their flagship rope hammock features custom designed stretcher bars cut from seasoned hardwood, then they are steamed, bent, drilled, sanded and varnished. The rope body is hand sewn and marked with unique nautical bowline knots. This is the same weave design invented by Captain Josh Ward over a century ago. The support ropes are constructed of durable Duracord rope material and the spreader bars are made of solid oak coated with a polyurethane varnish for long outdoor wear. The products are also very versatile. These cozy beds can be used in the yard or taken along on camping trips, tied between two trees, or assembled with a stand.

If you’re looking for a little southern comfort in your own backyard, then Pawleys Island rope hammock and outdoor furnishings are beyond compare. Their unique products are the perfect combination of old world charm and design combined with the durability of modern synthetic fibers. A Pawleys Island cotton or polyester rope hammock will allow you to sway away your stress for years to come.

Idyllic destinations – Australia’s Tamborine Mountain

Posted by Saiful in General on 11 27th, 2009

Located approximately 60 kilometres south of Queensland’s capital city of Brisbane, Tamborine Mountain is a volcanic plateau set within Australia’s Gold Coast hinterland.

An outpouring of lava from nearby Mount Warning – many millenia ago – created Tamborine Mountain’s lush, forested plateau which is approximately 8 km long by 5 km wide and now sits 600 metres above sea level.

The many attractions of the Mount Tamborine area and its picturesque villages include craft and antique shops, cafes and restaurants and numerous galleries which attract thousands of tourists every season.

The area is also known for its award-winning wineries with many offering tours, free tastings and affordable meals in beautiful surroundings. If you enjoy walking, nine National Parks within the region await you. Shady walking tracks lead through stunning subtropical rainforest and past breathtaking waterfalls, natural swimming holes and rock pools. Sun dappled picnic and BBQ areas pepper the way and spectacular lookouts offer stunning views towards the ocean as well as to the West over the hinterland.

The Rainforest Discovery Skywalk is the latest Tamborine Mountain attraction and was completed in early 2009. Set on 30 acres of magnificent rainforest and alongside a tumbling creek, the Skywalk consists of an eco walking trail that leads to a 40m-long platform set 30m above the rainforest canopy. A short drive away, another popular attraction are the Glow-worm Caves that offer guided underground sightseeing tours through two spectacular man made caves filled with thousands of glow worms.

The rich volcanic soil of the area supports a diversity of horticulture which can be enjoyed on nature walks as well as by visiting the local Botanic Gardens. The bounty of many Tamborine Mountain residents’ gardens is also on display at several roadside stalls that abound with kiwi fruit, rhubarb, avocados and macadamia nuts quaintly displayed around an ‘Honesty Box’.

This small plateau is also rich in animal and bird life. Platypus, green tree frogs, scrub turkeys, wallabies and koalas form part of the Mountain’s varied range of wildlife and in the morning, the calls of lorikeets, kookaburras and lyrebirds can be heard.

The state of Queensland is known as Australia’s ‘Sunshine State’. On Tamborine Mountain, you can enjoy abundant sunshine year-round but without the heat and humidity that the more northerly parts of Queensland often endure.

The beaches, shopping malls, theme parks and many other Gold Coast attractions are a comfortable 40-minute drive from Mount Tamborine while Brisbane is one hour away, making the Mountain the ideal ‘base-camp’ location from which to explore south-east Queensland.

The nearest international airport is Brisbane’s, however national travellers often opt for Coolangatta (Gold Coast) airport, a mere 45-minute drive from Tamborine Mountain.

Whether you are parents-to-be seeking a tranquil Babymoon destination, a newly engaged couple looking for that perfect Honeymoon location or if you are simply looking for the best Tamborine Accommodation you will delight in the serene privacy of Mount Tamborine’s Witches Falls Cottages.

Witches Falls Cottages offer an idyllic retreat to nature and consist of very private cottages tucked away along rainforest pathways in one of Tamborine Mountain’s and perhaps even Australia’s most secluded and peaceful locations.

Is Any Budget Travel Guide A Bargain?

Posted by Saiful in General on 11 27th, 2009

You might have seen a few budget travel guides available online that advertise immense savings to be made whenever you buy an airline ticket.  Many other deals are mentioned, such as hotel bookings, auto rental, cruise vacations, reduced theme park admissions – a huge list of possibilities for savings in travel costs.

Some seasoned travelers seem to be incensed by such information products.  Why pay for information that is freely available online?  It’s a waste of money! Why would any person with any shred of integrity be seen anywhere within 100 miles of these dreadful salespeople? Only good for suckers! And so on, and on, and on.

Well, I research and sell data and information to people who specifically want to buy it.  Travel agents do this as well, and do not come in for the same criticism from the travel gurus. Many people are engaged in the information industry, one way or another, and provide news, advice, guidance and information that we all like or need to access from time to time.

In my opinion it is the prejudice of these travel gurus that is behind such attitudes. Being much-traveled myself, often to unattractive parts of the world, I know that you must learn to work directly with foreign airlines and uncooperative hotel receptionists, ready at a moment’s notice to change everything to meet a new business timeframe.  This is what makes seasoned travelers feel superior to ‘ordinary’ people.

In spite of what the experts might say to the contrary, it is NOT easy to put your hands on the right travel data and information.  It is NOT easy to find quickly. And most of the travel experts have found their own shortcuts for arranging easier and better journeys without wasting time on tricky phone calls or indifferent internet connections.  So I believe that it is perfectly reasonable to charge for providing this information to others that want to have it available as required rather than have to discover it all for themselves.

Basically, that is the point of these travel guides.  They give the inside guidance for arranging your own travel better and more cheaply.  This saves you time and shows you the best way to get where you want to go, and you often get there in a higher travel class than expected.

But we know that travel industry workers get all sorts of perks and allowances.  It would be so good to be able to have a share in some of these allowances and promotions, and it is indeed possible to do so.

A good budget travel guide will tell you the secrets of the travel trade, so that you can benefit from all those wonderful freebies.  Most good travel guides cost less than , and the ones I recommend also include full refund, no hassle guarantees so you are taking no risk at all if you decide to buy one.  If nothing esle these guides are most entertaining to read and are full of ideas for getting a better travel deal.

Before planning for travel we recommend that you visit our website to read about our favorite guide. Why not try it, remembering that you can get your money back if you don’t like it. But I think you will keep it, once you see how much it will help you get the best travel deals and how to get and enjoy those promotions and freebies.

Bon voyage!
