Plus, if you have really sensitive skin, retinol can create some problems. Some of the more common effects of vitamin A (besides being a wrinkle fighter) can be breakouts and/or dry skin. However, this is usually the result of over doing it with your vitamin A treatments. If you are worried, then test your vitamin A product on the inside of your elbow. You can place a small bit there twice a day for around a week. If you do not have any redness or inflammation then you should be just fine. But, you must watch your skin carefully to be sure you are okay.
This brings me to my final “warning.” You should follow the directions exactly. You must not use vitamin A if you just want to rub on any old moisturizer to protect your skin. It is definitely for those people that do not want to play around. Vitamin A can remove wrinkles forever, so make sure that you use it correctly.
